| | The CLCC is proud to have Dr. Judith Lynn Stillman as its Director! Dr. Stillman is currently Artist-in-Residence and Professor of Music at Rhode Island College, and received her Master's and Doctoral degrees from The Juilliard School.
Dr. Stillman has received much acclaim as a concert pianist, having played and recorded with major artists including Wynton Marsalis, Mark O'Connor, the Muir and Borromeo String Quartets, Carol Wincenc, Maria Spacagna, Paula Robison, and many others. She was a featured artist at the Grammy's Celebration in honor of Mstislav Rostropovich, and in 1997 was awarded the First Annual Claiborne Pell Award for Excellence in the Arts.
Dr. Stillman also has a long-term passion for working with voices, and in this capacity has served as Music Director and Choral Conductor for a number of theatrical, choral and operatic venues including: Music Director and Chorus Master at Operafestival di Roma in Rome and Verona, Italy; Choral Director at Merkin Hall in NYC; Choral Director at the Cate School in California; Music Director of the award-winning Madrigals Singers in La Jolla; Music Director for "Don Giovanni," "Cavelleria Rusticana," and numerous musicals including "Annie," "The Wizard of Oz," "Oliver!," "Fiddler on the Roof," "My Fair Lady," and "Oklahoma!." |
