About Us

Now in its 37^th year, the Cumberland-Lincoln Community Chorus is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization.  We are a mixed, intergenerational, non-auditioned conglomeration of folks who love to sing! As Musical Ambassadors, our mission is to enrich the cultural and educational life of Rhode Island and surrounding communities. We have a rich heritage of community outreach and perform an average of 25 concerts yearly – providing quality musical entertainment at nursing homes, assisted living and public housing facilities, churches & community events. 

We’ve been proud to entertain and support Lifespan’s National Cancer Survivor’s Day at Goddard Park over the past several years.  In August of 2006, we were selected to perform at the Godspeed Sail Landing Party at the Newport Yachting Center as part of a national tribute to the 400th Anniversary Celebration of Jamestown, VA.  The repertoire we perform varies from classical to contemporary – with a fun mix of everything in between!

How We Are Organized

The Chorus operates in accordance with its Bylaws and is led by an Executive Board elected by the general adult membership.  Our various committees keep the Chorus running smoothly and efficiently.  All are welcome to participate in any committee activity.
