CLCC Apprentices

Integral to our mission to enrich the educational life of our communities is our Apprentice program.  This program provides talented students in grades 8-12 an exciting opportunity to sing and perform both as an ensemble and with the adult chorus during our annual spring musical production.  Students from any school in Rhode Island or SE Massachusetts are invited to audition for the Apprentice program and do not pay member dues.  We look for enthusiastic, talented teens who love to sing and perform...and have fun!

Apprentices rehearse on Tuesday nights from 5:15-6:30 pm during the Spring season.

At the conclusion of our Spring production, we award a $500 scholarship to a deserving, graduating Apprentice to further his or her education.  To date we have awarded over $15,000 in scholarships. For more information on this scholarship, click here

Apprentice auditions are scheduled in January by appointment.  For more information about the Apprentice program or to arrange an audition, call Maury Hoover at 401-231-0902 or contact us.
